Week 1

What an amazing experience this has been so far. We have spent an entire week together and I am completely in love with this little man. The sleepless nights are worth every minute I am spending with him. I am just trying to enjoy every ounce of him being this small because I hear it flies by.

Hudson is now 5 lbs. 9 oz. We are usually feeding every 2 hours to get his weight back up and I think it's working. To me, his little cheeks are starting to fill out. He is such a good baby, he really only cries when he needs to burp or has a stinky diaper. One of the hardest things so far is keeping his little stick down so he doesn't pee out of his diaper. He has soaked a few outfits because of this. My favorite thing to do is sit and rock him for hours just kissing his sweet little face. He knows the sound of my voice and that will usually soothe him...or I like to think so. I am still supplementing with formula because I am still not getting enough milk in and weight gain is top priority right now.

Most of this information is just rambling, but I want to remember as much as possible.
