Mr. Hudson's 1st Birthday Party

Where did the time go?? Here are some pictures because I am terrible at writing/tying. Also, sorry I have been  MIA...but this little man is wild. The first pictures are from hid birthday party.

His real birthday! August 4th 

Hudson 10 months...almost.

 And his older furry brother, Bentley. We took these lastnight and I will have to say that Bentley stole the spotlight. He did so good, but of course Hudson had a blast as well.

I'm 6 months old!!

Hudson is so much fun these days. His personality is starting to come out and he just lights up my days!
At 6 months old you can:

• Sit up.
• Eat solids, but you do not care for squash.
• Get on all 4's like you are going to crawl, but you just rock.
• Roll over, both ways.
• Your favorite thing to do is jump in your Johnny Jump Up.
• You love to look at Mommy and watch every move I make.
• You are very observant and look like you are soaking everything in.
• When you wake up in the morning you have a huge smile on your face.
• You still do not sleep through the night, but you are getting better.

a Johnny Jumper!

He loves this thing. I knew he would because he bounces constantly when you are holding him and he is standing on something.

So I know I am the worst.blogger.on.the.planet, BUT I want to start some type of blogging that will involve baby schedules, cleaning schedules, and stay-at-home-mom attire. If you know of any blogs that have any of this let me know!! I need the help too!

Camera help...

If anyone still reads my blog I need your help. Right now I have an okay camera (Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX1 Digital camera - compact - 9.1 Megapixel - 20 x optical zoom.) I was thinking...should I get a better camera or should I just get photoshop to edit and perfect some of my pictures? I also think I should take a class on PhotoShop if I start using it. Would that be worth it?


I just see so many of you mom's who take fabulous pictures and I have to admit that I am a little jealous.
Can you help a sister out and let me know what would be best for an amateur?

A year ago today

I found out I was pregnant. I can still remember the feeling of happiness I felt the moment I saw those pink lines. Hudson is the biggest blessing to Trent and me. It's amazing the joy one little half smile can do to brighten my day. Here are a few pictures since I have been MIA for way too long.

Car seat cover

Thanks to Make it and Love it I made this cat seat cover today and it took me about an hour. I LOVE it. It's so cute. Mine of course doesn't look as good as Ashley's, but I am pretty proud of myself. Now Hudson will stay warm on those cold winter days!
